Getting started
How do I install AdShield Platinum?
Click "Add to Chrome" on the Chrome Web Store listing. The extension installs instantly with no setup required. All core features are active immediately.
Do I need an account?
No. The free tier requires no account whatsoever. Just install and it works.
How do I pause AdShield on a specific site?
Click the AdShield icon in your toolbar and click "Pause on site". The extension will not block anything on that domain until you re-enable it.
Troubleshooting
Something legitimate is being blocked incorrectly.
Click "Pause on site" in the popup, or report the false positive. Platinum users get priority review and we'll remove it from the blocklist in the next update.
YouTube ads aren't being blocked.
Make sure you have the latest version of the extension. Try setting sensitivity to High or Max (Platinum). If the issue persists, email us — we update the YouTube logic quickly.
A site detects my ad blocker and won't load.
Use "Pause on site" to temporarily disable AdShield for that domain. You can re-enable it when you leave.
Platinum and billing
How do I cancel my Platinum subscription?
Cancel through the platform you subscribed on — Chrome Web Store, iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or Google Play → Subscriptions. Your Platinum features remain active until the end of the billing period.
How do I restore Platinum after reinstalling?
Open the extension popup and tap "Restore purchase". It will re-verify your subscription automatically.
Can I use Platinum on multiple devices?
Individual Platinum covers 1 device. The Family plan ($14.99/mo) covers 5 devices with cross-device sync included.
